Global Help Women and Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and protecting children across the globe. Our mission is to create opportunities, provide support, and raise awareness to ensure every woman and child can live a life of dignity, safety, and hope. We focus on addressing critical issues such as girls’ education, early marriage, maternal and child health, women’s economic empowerment, and protection from abuse and harmful cultural practices.
Founded by Fartun Yusuf Warsame, who grew up in a refugee camp and brings over 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, our organization is grounded in compassion, cultural understanding, and a deep commitment to justice. Fartun’s vision is to create lasting change by strengthening communities, providing education and resources, and empowering women to take control of their futures.
Our mission is to empower women and children,especially across Africa by promoting education, health, safety, and economic independence. We work to prevent harmful practices such as abortion, female genital mutilation (FGM), early marriage, domestic violence, and child abuse. We strive to create awareness, provide support, and open doors of opportunity for women and girls to live with dignity and hope.
Our vision is a world where every woman and child, especially across Africa, lives free from violence, discrimination, and inequality. We envision communities where girls have access to education, women are economically independent, and families thrive in safe and supportive environments. Through education, health, and empowerment, we aim to build a future rooted in dignity, equality, and lasting opportunity.
